Hej hej, nice to meet you

Born in the North of the Netherlands. In my younger years, I spent a lot of time outdoors and my parents supported me in doing all kinds of crafts (or 'knutselen' as we say in Dutch). By the time I was 14 years old, I had my first camera and I was so happy with it.

I visited Stockholm for the first time in 2011 and stayed for nine months—plenty of time to fall in love with the city and its stunning surroundings. I enjoyed my time in Stockholm immensely, and it was only after returning to the Netherlands that I realized how this experience abroad had changed my life.

After years of photographing, I reached a point in my life where I felt a bit lost. An accident forced my life to pause, giving me time to reflect. During my rehabilitation, someone asked me, "What is it that you love doing the most?"

"Photography," I answered without hesitation.

That simple question was the spark I needed to take my lifelong passion more seriously. It became the turning point that led to starting my own photography business.

Finally, the time had come. It was January 2022. We packed our belongings, sold everything we had in the Netherlands, found a place to live, and got on the plane. Ready for a new chapter in my life—living in my beloved Stockholm. And yes my boyfriend was willing to join me on this amazing adventure. I have not regret it for a second!
